LEAVE A LEGACY OF COMFORT, HOPE AND SUPPORT FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Leaving a bequest to Tu Nidito is a way to make a lasting and significant gift to further the mission of Tu Nidito. Planned gifts are made through a will or trust and can benefit general operating funds or go to support the Tu Nidito endowment fund.

A planned gift is a transfer of assets to Tu Nidito during lifetime or as part of an estate plan. This is a forward-thinking approach to giving and is considered ‘planned’ as often these assets are not liquid, relate to taxes and are transferred via a will or other legal written document. It’s easy and you don’t have to be wealthy to make a meaningful impact. A few assets that can be leveraged into planned gifts include:

Bequest: A provision in a will that allows Tu Nidito to receive a gift upon your death.

Life Insurance: Name Tu Nidito as a beneficiary in a life insurance payment.

Charitable Remainder Trust: Assets are transferred to a trust and earnings are paid as income to beneficiaries. Upon death of the last beneficiary, the principal is a gift to Tu Nidito.

Charitable Gift Annuity: A legal agreement between you and Tu Nidito by turning assets into a meaningful gift while enhancing lifetime income and maximizing tax benefits.

Charitable Lead Trust: Assets of a trust, for a specific period of time, will benefit Tu Nidito. When the trust terminates the principal goes to your named beneficiaries.

Please contact Tu Nidito for more information or questions regarding making a planned gift. This information is provided as potential giving options to support Tu Nidito programs. Tu Nidito recommends that you always consult a tax professional or attorney regarding charitable contributions.
