As the school year begins for many, we are excited for our grief support groups to return to their regular schedule. Children, teens, young adults, and their caregivers rely on Tu Nidito as a place to find community, comfort and safety. Whether you’re a volunteer or a donor, we could not do this vital work without you. For nearly the last 30 years, we have been proud to be Southern Arizona’s only child-centered support for those grieving a serious medical condition or death. To continue our mission of establishing a compassionate and grief-informed community, we are excited to announce a new way to express your support and help sustain Tu Nidito into the future.
Today we are launching our annual giving society: The Nest Makers. By committing to a one-time annual gift or a monthly donation you can help us strengthen “Our Little Nest,” enabling us to continue being a haven of hope for grieving families in Southern Arizona. This critical support comes with exclusive benefits to truly connect you to our mission.
We are not an endowed agency and rely on support from our community. Put simply, we exist because of you.
In the coming months, there are several ways to support Tu Nidito: Dueling Pianos on Friday, September 26th is almost here! We’re also excited for our Ride for a Child fundraiser through the El Tour de Tucson, and we have tickets for sale for Jim Click’s Millions for Tucson Raffle. Lastly, our next volunteer training takes place on Saturday, September 6th. We are especially in need of Adult Group Facilitators, so if you know someone with a big heart looking to give back to the community, please send them our way.
With gratitude,
